Oh sweet, The Harder They Come is out on DVD now! Gotta check that out. Have you seen Rockers? Great reggae movie, killer soundtrack with the Upsetters, Inner Circle, Burning Spear, etc. Awesome scene where the Rastas overthrow the DJ at a disco, "It's a takeover, man!" Definitely one of my Top 5 music movies.
I watched the first 15 minutes of the Harder They Come and I stopped, thinking I have to see this on the big screen and share it with the BFS--I can't wait!!!
I just put the Rockers in my Netflix list--thanks for the reference.
Have you seen 1 Giant Leap yet? It is supposed to arrive in the mail today--sounds like an interesting global music documentary.
Hey Trevor, how about a WRFL interview to promote the efforts of the BFS and world cinema?
Peace comrade!

Definitely, re: interview. In fact, why not do a weekly entry on the Campus Calender? I'm pretty sure the Student Center Film Series already does that. I will mention it to the News Director at our meeting Sunday, if you're interested.
I'm interested--thanks, let me know what you need from me.
