Central Kentucky Council for Peace and Justice: Fair Works Shop in Victorian Square

(From Viriginia Blum)

Until Christmas Eve, the Central Kentucky Council for Peace and Justice is sponsoring a Fair Works Shop in Victorian Square. Emphasizing stunning yet affordable crafts from third world artisans the Fair Works shop offers merchandise from the popular Berea Peace Crafts shop. Christmas ornaments, Fair trade coffee, baskets, clothing, and jewelry are among the wide array of crafts available. If you are looking for something beautiful and distinctive as a personal gift you won't find a more interesting place to visit. Council Board member, Billie Mallory, has marshalled a wonderful group of volunteers to help her. If you go to the Farmer's Market on Saturday's which is now indoors at Victorian Square, stop in and browse Fair Works. Billie often has coffee available and she has set aside a small play
area for young children to make browsing for parents more relaxed.

All proceeds from sales go to support the work of the Central Kentucky Council for Peace and Justice
