SELF-PUBLISHED AUTHOR SHOWCASE & THE MUSIC OF BEN LACY: A HOPARTUNITY EVENT Friday, Nov. 17, 5-8 during Downtown Gallery Hop The Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning
251 West Second Street, Lexington
A stop on the LexArts-sponsored Downtown Gallery Hop, the Carnegie Center's Laurie S. Bottoms Gallery will feature Melanie Sunbeam Smith's exhibit:
"Retrospective: Correlations to Music," made possible by the Kentucky Arts Council and the Kentucky Foundation for Women. This month's HopARTunity event is a Self-Published Author Showcase, to spotlight the works of such Bluegrass notables as Gatewood Galbraith. Authors will be on hand to sign copies of their books, and music will be provided by Lexington's own guitar virtuoso and one-man band, Ben Lacy. All events are FREE and open to the public. The HopARTunity program is funded in part by a generous grant from the W. Paul and Lucille Caudill Little Foundation.
