October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

To help raise awareness of and prevent domestic violence, Student Development & Counseling will be collecting items during the month of October for distribution to the Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program.

Collecting:
-Personal hygiene items (shampoo, lotion, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.)
-Alarm clocks
-Children's socks and undergarments
-Diapers
-Laundry detergent
-Old cell phones (programmed to call 911 and then distributed to victims of abuse and violence)

So....if you have an old cell phone or you would like to purchase a few extra items on your next shopping trip, please bring the items to one of the drop off locations listed below.
